Who we are

  • This Privacy Policy describes how SUBDIV3D (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the VirtuCam application (“VirtuCam” or the “App”).

What we do

  • VirtuCam applies Snap Camera Kit lenses to your live camera feed locally on your device. We do not operate any cloud service for VirtuCam.

Information we collect

  • We do not collect, store, or transmit personal information.

  • VirtuCam requests access to your device’s camera solely to enable the real‑time AR experience. The video feed is processed locally and is not sent to us.

  • Configuration you provide (your Snap Camera Kit API token and any lens IDs) is saved only in your local device storage (localStorage) within the App.

Local storage used by the App

  • The App stores the following values on your device:

  • cameraKitToken: your Snap Camera Kit API token

  • lenses: an array of objects containing your lensId and groupId

  • These values remain on your device and are not transmitted to us.

Third‑party services

  • Snap Camera Kit (Snap Inc.): The App integrates Snap’s Camera Kit SDK to render lenses. Use of Camera Kit is subject to Snap’s terms and policies.

  • We do not send your camera feed or configuration to Snap on our own; the SDK may communicate with Snap as necessary to load and apply the lenses you select.

Cookies and tracking

  • The App does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking technologies. Only localStorage (as described above) is used to preserve your settings.

Data sharing and selling

  • We do not sell, rent, share, or collect your personal information.

  • We do not disclose data to third parties except as required by law or to comply with legal processes.

Security

  • Because the App processes video locally and does not send data to our servers, your camera feed and configuration remain on your device. Please keep your device and API token secure.

Children’s privacy

  • VirtuCam is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will address it promptly.

Your rights

  • Since we do not collect personal information on our servers, requests to access, delete, or correct data generally pertain to data stored locally on your device. You can clear the App’s local settings at any time (for example, by using the in‑App controls or clearing your browser/electron app storage).

International use

  • The App is designed to run locally on your device. We do not transfer your data internationally since we do not collect it on our servers.

Changes to this policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
